The Burly Man is an ART FASHION PROJECT

Stutterheim

No Gore-Tex. No velcro. No mass production. And no straps or strings dangling from every seam. Meet the Arholma – the last raincoat you will ever need.

Using the the finest craftsmanship, materials and details, the Arholma is a state of the art version of the traditional raincoat worn by generations of Swedish fishermen (and the occasional genius film director). It is hand sewn at our factory in Borås by one of our skilled seamstresses. To meet our high standards and to guarantee that every coat is 100% wind and water proof, every single seam is carefully sealed with tape. Finally, each coat is individually controlled, numbered and signed by the seamstress who has sewn it.

Today I went to my favorite fashion store in  Gothenburg Grandpa !

Here you can find really cool traditional Brands mixed up with newcomers, Its not a store for brand whores tho this store only has its focus on an French Industrial Chic style!

The thing that also dose the magic is the feeling of “friendlyness” like the original “cool” how can I explain .. have you seen the movie High Fidelity?  IOW The staff is exelent!

Well If you ever in the west part of Sweden you just must drop in! If not for the clothing drop in for the store vintage funiture thats also for sale!

Btw I bought a Henley Sweater for a more Beary O brother, Where art thou? look ! Its made by A.O.

A.O

Is an Swedish brand that focus on basic fashion with an origin in humanistic and organic thinking! In the production of AO’s clothes only environmentally friendly and recyclable materials are used. So a big thanx to Rodrigo Gutierrez Benavente that founded AOCMS back in 1996.
